The stock market has just crashed.

I invested in something:

I saved,

Got advice,

Put in the work

And was patient;

I flew all the way to Tennessee and I flew all the way back.

When you invest in something you expect it:

To grow,

To mature,

To improve,

To yield;

You expect to come home from Tennessee and to reclaim what you invested with interest.

By force,

I am a stockbroker and my advice would be:

Never expect when you invest.

Someone else will surely reap what you thought was yours.

Expectation is an illusion, as is love.
