To celebrate LGBT History Month, The Floor is holding a virtual night for queer writers to share their work every Sunday at 7pm throughout February.
We understand how hard the publication industry has been hit in the last year, and how this has put the livelihood of queer writers in an even more precarious state than it was before. We also know that writers can often feel like they live in a vacuum when they are not given a proper chance for their work to be engaged with.
These live readings would be a chance for writers to be spotlighted, and their current work to be appreciated. Interested audience members will not only have a chance to learn about and engage with your art but also to purchase your available work or offer a tip.
You do not have to be a published writer or have any prior experience, all are welcome! Email us if you are a queer writer who would like to participate.
