After their collaboration on the standout True Love from Wiz Kid's Made In Lagos, fans will be glad to hear that Juls, Projexx and Tay Iwar have joined forces once again. This time for the British Ghanaian producer/DJ Juls. A taste of what we can expect from his much anticipated project set to drop later in the summer, Chance is a smooth and sensual percussion offering.
Juls is known for pioneering Afrobeats, along with his signature flawless fusion of traditional Afrobeats with R&B as well as Caribbean sounds. Described as a "love song for the grown and sexy" by Juls himself, the mellow beat sits steadily against the silky vocals from Projexx and Tay Iwar.
The visual, as gorgeous as the track, was shot in Elmina, Accra and was directed by Andy. The music video features a young presumably Ghanian couple enamoured by each other, and actor/dancer Georgia Curtis (who also famously appeared on Wiz Kid's Joro) care-freely dancing along.
Since the release of his last project, Juls has racked up a stellar amount of collaborations as well as his own radio show covering Afrobeats and wider African music at Kiss FM. The DJ/producer has solidified himself as household name in the Afrobeats conversation as well as the UK music industry. A household name here at The Floor too, Juls has appeared as a guest as well as subject of our No Signal show, Super Album with narcography.
